Getting cuter everyday!

Tanner is getting cuter everyday. We had his blessing last Sunday on Easter and the weather could not have been better. We appreciate all the family that made it. Good time was had by all.

Tanner is growing up fast, but some days it feels like not fast enough.

Ashlyn Rides a Bike

Ashlyn is not as daring as some of her male cousins. Some of them have been riding bikes for some time now. She also
has less scars. She got a big girl bike for Christmas. The bike is a little big, but it is working much better than her other small bike. She got pretty good on her small
Bike, but now she is really rocking it on her big bike. I am a proud papa.

Fun days

The girls are so much fun and Tanner is growing up so fast. Tanner was 8 weeks old yesterday. We have still mostly been keeping him in seclusion so he can stay healthy. Now that it is starting to warm up, we will take him out more. He is a good baby, I love holding him for long amounts of time when I am at home and mostly on the weekends when I get some time to sit down.

It has been fun spending some special 1 on 1 time or should I say 1 on 2 time with the girls. They are so funny some days. Especially Lydia, she has a knack for being funny. She was blessed with a very funny sense of humor just like her daddy. She cracks me up on a daily basis. She can also be the most stubborn when she gets cranky, just like her Dad. We have been trying to do fun activities on the weekends and evenings when we get a chance.

Ski Day!

Took the girls on another excursion today. Wanted to get them out of the house so Angeline could get some rest. We decided to go ski. This is Ashlyn's 3rd year so she was ready to shred. I wasn't so sure about Lydia, but she did great! I was surprised at how quickly she caught on.

Tanner update-
He is a good baby. I think we lucked out on this time around. He sleeps a lot and seems to be content most the time. He continues to grow and gain weight. It's so great to have hike home. Ashlyn show a lot of love and affection to him. Lydia hardly knows he exists. It's quite funny. Angeline is doing well also. She tries to get some extra rest when she can, but sometimes it proves to be difficult. Tanner is a cute baby boy and we love him lots. We just won't take him anywhere until at least April. We don't want to risk it. :)

Tanner Update

Tanner continues to improve and do better everyday. He is still growing a ton everyday. They took him off the oxygen early this morning at 1:00am. He has been doing well with out it. That is a very big step. Hopefully he can stay off of it. The next step is for Angeline to feed him for 6 solid meals a day. Right now he gets too sleepy half way through eating.













Not sure when he will come home yet, although we are not eager to push it too fast. He has great care, although it does make us feel bad when we have to leave him at night. With all the sickness going around, we would hate to end back up in the hospital.

Angeline has had the best recovery of all 3 pregnancies, it helped that Tanner was a bit smaller. She is doing well. Now we just hope feeding improves. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers from everyone, we can feel them.

Tanner is continuing to progress and do much better. Today latched on for a short while. He is now off the iv. He put on some weight after dropping a little bit. His heart rate is down.

We are grateful for the blessings we are witnessing with Tanner. He has great nurses and great care. We love him so much.

Tanner Charles Jarvis

Well, Baby Tanner is here. Tanner Charles Jarvis is the name we decided to name him. He sure was excited to get here. 6lb 2oz. 17 inches tall. He was born at 8:45am Sunday, January 13, 2013. His due date was Feb 8th. We sure are excited to have him, although because he is early, he is premature. His lungs weren't entirely opened. He has been Cpap machine. He could be in the hospital for 2 weeks, although he is doing pretty well so he could come home sooner. It's all a matter of how he does. He is a cute little boy and he looks like his daddy. It has been a little hard since we can't hold him. It will be soon enough.
Angeline is doing very well. It has been the best birth yet. She has recovered very well. I had just got done with the radio show podcast and hopped into bed about 1:15. I crashed out. About 2:15am, Angeline woke me up and said her water broke. I was running around frantic, just like in the movies. I didn't know what to do because he was so early. Luckily, Angeline was prepared. She was in labor all night, and she delivered at 8:45am. Tanner is in the NICU for now. The girls, Ashlyn and Lydia are so excited. They helped name him.
