Welcome to our blog

Hey friends. We have been wanting to create a blog for a while now. We have pictures and photos that we want to share for family and friends. We also want a way to archive and document all the things we do as a family. We have been delaying in creating a blog to wait until we came up with the perfect name or perfect blog. That will never happen so we set something up so we can get started. We figured the blog can be a work in progress. I have read so may other blogs that are done really well, so hopefully our can turn out just as well.

Here is our family portrait. It was taken close to a year ago. We are due for a new family picture this week. I will be sure to add the new picture. Lydia has gotten much bigger in the past several months. Ashlyn is continuing to grow like a weed. Angeline is very active with the many things she has going on. She stays very busy with the primary in the ward, and taking care of all the many household jobs that have to be taken care of. Charlie is staying busy working at Control4 in Draper.

More to come later.

Great day for a picnic

It was a such a nice day we decided to have dinner outside. With all the rain, it was great to get out and soak up the sun. The girls love to be outside, we are looking forward to spring.

Mother's Day visit to Great Grand Parents

Lydia is a grandpas girl! She won't go to anyone besides me and grandpa Brown, but she sure cuddled up to her great grandpa Knuetson!

Cinco de Mayo 5K run

Angeline and I decided to do a fun 5K run in the river woods for Cinco De Mayo. It was cheap and it was to raise money for school for Autism. Our friend and neighbor Beth Reeves ran it, and we found another guy in the ward was running it too, Lonny Flygare. It was a fun race, and we got some prizes along with a fantastic dinner afterwards. Angeline finished around 24 minutes and I finished just under 28 minutes with 27:40. We had a great time. Looking forward to many more.
